I - I - MMX

Happy New Year 2010!

I'm happy. I work tomorrow and I'm happy about that.
Does it sound crazy?

I'm just happy.. inexplicably happy.

Remember: all energy is just borrowed.

Movie of the Year

Yesterday, I've seen the movie : Avatar, directed by James Cameron.
It's is a 3 D movie... I've never seen anything like it!

(In the photo the French Avatar poster from http://sarxos.wordpress.com)

Oél ngáti kámeie

It is a greeting.
It means "I See You" in Na'vi language.
It's more than just "I see you" with my eyes.
I see who you really are. I understand.
I comprehend.
I feel the essence of you.The flow of energy.
A quick response to this greeting is "Káme ngát".

What is Christmas?

"Pentru unii, Craciunul este sarbatoarea nasterii Printului pacii, cu care ocazie daruim copiilor nostri pusti, pistoale, tancuri si avioane de lupta."

I don't know who said it. But they were right.

"For some people, Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the Prince of peace, occasion to give to our children rifles, guns, tanks and fight planes."

What is Christmas?

Here we eat pork, have a Christmas tree and .. oh, we give presents.

There should be more, right?

Red leaves...

Photos taken November 2009 in Bucharest, Unirii Square.

I voted for Vlad...... Vlad Tepes

Literally!! I should have taken a photo of the vote bulletin to show you.

In the photo : Vlad Tepes or Vlad the Impaler (1431 - 1476)- from http://www.fundatiasnagov.ro

"Cum nu vii tu Tepes doamne, ca punand mâna pe ei,
Sã-i imparti în doua cete: în smintiti si în misei,
Si în doua temniti large cu de-a sila sã-i aduni,
Sã dai foc la puscarie si la casa de nebuni!"

Mihai Eminescu - Scrisoarea III

Autum 2009

I took these photos in November 2009. Been a bit depressed lately...
But I have to smile... and send my love to you.

Heartache to heartache
We stand"

Talk to me

Sometimes I realize I am unable to communicate.
I feel almost autistic.

It's so not bad but it's not good either, I guess.
...being on my private island...

I'm tired.
So tired.... desperately tired.

Sweet home

All I can say: it's good to be home.
Everything else is fine, I guess.
Being in good health it is a treasure.
And like any other treasure we don't fully appreciate it until it is lost.
I feel good now and I'm very grateful for that.
Physically...
Emotionally .... well, that's another story.

All is old and all is new

A friend sent me a link to a very interesting article: The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts .

This made me think of the poem "Glossa" by M. Eminescu:

"All is old and all is new,
Time goes by, time comes along."

You can read the rest of the poem here.

The Hunger Site

It seems that I always complain about my job.
How about people who do not have a job?
How about people who do not have food?
Visit "The Hunger Site" daily.

Relax

I left early from work today.
I was feeling I couldn't breathe.
There is this constant tension at work...

Sad

I feel sad.
Another crazy day at work, as usual..
I wish I could quit.

There is also another song that expresses how I feel right now.

P.S. I'll be fine.

Like a violin

"Merg pe Pamant si sunt ca vioara"
"I'm walking on this Earth and I'm like a violin"
These are lyrics of a beautiful song and poem that I love.

A quote

"I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you.
Let us work together for unity and love." Gandhi

Not much to add.... maybe this photo:

So delicate..

These little flowers are delicate yet humble.

Not like the exquisite rose or other noble flower.

Je vous aime petites fleurs.

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

- Max Ehrmann, 1927 -
